Bleed print on Arches paper in an edition of 50 impressions. One of nine images of Maine from the folio of prints and poetry (by Frederick Lowe) entitled "Intimate Views: From Away".
The mailboat is a converted lobster boat named the Last Straw. It leaves from Sunset, Maine and brought us to Great Spruce Head Island in Penobscot Bay, summer home of Fairfield and Eliot Porter.
